There are a lot of zombie movies coming out this year, but only one of them is directed by “Eaters: Rise of the Dead” masterminds Luca Boni and Marco Ristori. “Zombie Massacre”, the duo’s latest undead-related endeavor, is being proudly presented to the world by Uwe Boll. However, don’t let the “House of the Dead” director’s involvement dissuade you from checking this one out. “Eaters” was a pretty badass movie, and from the looks of things, their latest effort seems to have been fashioned from the same mold. That’s a good thing, by the way.
The film is loosely based on the video game by 1988 Games, which is about a group of police officers who are charged with delivering a nuclear bomb into a zombie-infested city. The adaptation stars Christian Boeving, Jon Campling, Mike Mitchell, Gerry Shanahan, Daniel Vivian, and the lovely Tara Cardinal.
