Produced by Aditya Chopra, DHOOM:3 will be written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, popularly known as Victor, who has written DHOOM 1 & 2. Victor has also written and directed Tashan. Both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their now iconic roles of Jai Dixit and Ali. The film will begin shooting end of this year and is slated for a 2013 release.
