Rush started production in 2010 under the title of 24x7 Raftaar.
However, after the death of director Shamin Desai, the film was shelved.
In October 2011, it was announced that the film was to be completed by
Desai's wife and the title was changed to Play. In April 2012, it was
reported that the project began filming once again and the current title
is Rush.[3] Rush will be released on 26 Oct 2012.
A story about
media and politics. Sam Grover (Emraan Hashmi) is a struggling news
reporter. Even though his talk show is at the pinnacle of success, his
personal life turns upside down when he accepts an assignment offered by
a dynamic media tycoon. It plunges him into a vortex of violence in a
deadly game of cat and mouse. Beneath the veneer of glamour, money,
